Field Technician (Level 2)
Description
The Field Technician's role is to deploy and install network, a/v and physical security systems for various customers throughout New England. This role will include travel to multiple locations on a daily and weekly basis. Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot network hardware, Audio/Visual devices, physical security, and other related products.
• Collaborate with Technology/Project team members to ensure efficient delivery of tasks and delivery services.
• Rough-in and termination of low voltage structure cabling (CAT6, HDMI, USB)
• Installation of LCD panels, projectors
• Racking and patching network related equipment
• Deploying wireless access points and performing Wireless site surveys
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts
• Ability to read technical drawings
• If necessary, liaise with third-party suppliers and contractors
• Must be able to pass background and CORI checks
Experience
• 3-5 years' experience
