Field Service Technician
We're looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing Service team. This role combines Material Handling equipment installs & inspections with Plant Services, including the installation of conveyors, lifts, carts, and CTEK equipment. Ideal for a machine builder with strong mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn and grow into advanced material handling and automation systems.
What You'll Do
- Install, assemble, and inspect material handling equipment (cranes, jib cranes, lifts, etc.)
- Install conveyors, carts, lifts, and other plant service equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on every job
- Document service reports and communicate with customers and internal teams
- Travel regularly to customer sites (regional/national)
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience as a machine builder, millwright, or service technician
- Strong mechanical skills; ability to learn new equipment quickly
- Experience with conveyors, lifts, carts, or cranes preferred
- Basic electrical/controls knowledge a plus
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel extensively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
