Our client, a leader in electrical power solutions, is seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Technicians to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Location: Jamaica, NY

Pay Range: $29 - $30

Shift: Monday, Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform repairs and modifications on electrical equipment based on detailed work instructions.
• Prepare comprehensive work reports, including installation results, test outcomes, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate modification tracking documentation and monitor equipment modification schedules.
• Manage repair and modification parts inventory, report discrepancies, and ensure tools are well-maintained.
• Support the Field Service Site Supervisor with various operational tasks as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED, with at least one year of electrical and/or mechanical repair experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic understanding of AC, DC, Analog, and Digital signals and their measurements.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications for report preparation and data analysis.
• Reliable transportation to meet work hours and minimal travel requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions, schematic diagrams, and assembly drawings.
