Field Service TechnicianAnistar is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide assistance with the service tickets, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security equipment.Job Responsibilities:Running service tickets for commercial environmentsPulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cable in a new construction and existing structure commercial environmentTerminating data jacksConfiguring network equipment (routers, switches, and firewalls)Conduct site surveys of cabling, power, and equipmentInstalling support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.Running daily reportsThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Minimum 3+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data or security systems in a commercial environment.Prior networking experience with routers, switches, and firewallsOwnership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.High character and integrityExcellent communication/customer service skillsOpen to travel workComputer savvy for reportsAnistar PAYS YOU for referrals!!!!!!!!
