Technical Manufacturing Field Service TechnicianWe have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manufacturing Field Service Technician at a partner client headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Field Technician for this position should reside on the US east coast. This opportunity offers you the ability to take part in the company's emergence on the international market, by travelling across the U.S.A and using your technical skills to resolve equipment issues at customer sites to get them back up and running at optimal performance while also having the chance to participate in different areas of the business.Salary: $25-35/hrSchedule: 40hr/week (Day shift preferred) Flexible schedule.Location: Hybrid/Remote - Candidate can reside anywhere in the USA but will be going to different customer sites across the USA to perform work.Language: English, (French or Spanish is a plus).Duties and Responsibilities:Travel to customers' site to setup, repair equipment, and conduct service and training related tasks.Troubleshoot equipment, identify and resolve issues.Test equipment to ensure it performs in accordance with best practices and specifications.Evaluate equipment functionality and propose continuous improvements to appropriate team for review and future consideration.Analyze customers' requirements and specifications to ensure current equipment meets their needs and/or if additional equipment is needed to meet production goals.Support customers (remotely, via phone, and in person) on the operation and troubleshooting of equipment.Solve and facilitate customer service issues as they arise.When not on the road, you will assist with machine assembly, machine testing, training, quality control, documentation and factory acceptance testing assistance, shop work, as well as customer demonstrations (Demo).Perform duties related to special projects as required.Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).Work Experience & Technical Skills Requirement: Be technically inclined from a mechanical, electrical and machine/equipment automation standpoint (Required). Manufacturing experience 7 years (Preferred). 5 years experience in assembly and/or service of industrial equipment. Knowledge of line packaging or related equipment (Preferred). Have the ability to read engineering drawings.
Skills with automation and IT equipment, PLC and HMI. Excellent communication skills. Field service report writing will be required.Certificate & License Requirement: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel without restrictions across USA.
