Seeking a Field Service Technician for the Boston, Massachusetts area! You will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service and products.
What you will do:
- Service printer/copier products with minimum assistance
- Troubleshoot basic printing issues, able to determine printer vs network issues.
- Able to install scanning and equipment in a peer-to-peer environment.
- Manage inventory to company specifcations.
- Maintain car, tool kit, and supplies.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and employees.
- Provide sales support including advising sales about problems or sales leads.
- Maintain professional appearances.
- Maximizing equipment up-time through timely repair
- Engaging the customer to assure satisfaction.
- Managing time to be most effective
- Prior experience in maintaining and repairing HP or Canon printers/copiers is required
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated skills.
- Knowledge of basic networking
- Computer and analytical skills
- A high school diploma is required, and an electronics or computer associate degree is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach, and transport equipment parts and boxes.
- You must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license issued in your state of residence, and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to troubleshoot printers/copiers and work independently
