We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team at Hobbs Dock and Doors Alsip, IL. As a leader in the industry, we are dedicated to providing top-notch service to our clients, and we are looking for a skilled technician to help us maintain that standard.
Job Description
The successful field service technician will have the experience to repair and install dock levelers, sectional overhead doors, rolling steel doors, commercial high-speed doors, swing doors and other loading dock equipment.
Responsibilities:
Repair/ Preventative maintenance and installation of all types of dock levelers and overhead doors
Adhering to codes, regulations, and safety standards
Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions and communicating with the customer
Inventory of truck parts
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience
High school education
Ability to drive service truck
Valid driver’s license; with an excellent driving history
Welding skills (welder certified) a plus
Willing to train right candidate
