Job TitleThe selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing technical and engineering services to the Customer's Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide.Responsibilities will include applying engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electronic equipment/systems.

Skills will also be used in reviewing, writing, and updating technical documentation and drawings, development of technical manuals, test plans and procedures, training curriculum and materials for fleet training evolutions.

Responsibilities will also include instructing training classes, maintenance, repair, inspection or troubleshooting of electronic equipment/systems. Will be required to travel up to 25% worldwide within 24 hour notification in support of the Customer's Air Traffic Control Systems.This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh school diploma and completion of U.S. Navy Electronics "C" School or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systemsExperience in maintenance, repair, restoration, test, and evaluation of Air Traffic Control systemsExperience using, reviewing, writing, and updating technical documentation such as test plans, maintenance and assembly procedures, schematics, technical manuals, drawings, and wire listsAbility to conduct Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level repair of electronic systemsFamiliarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)Knowledge on the proper use of common and specialty hand tools, general purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE) and special purpose electronic test equipment (SPETE)Ability to provide electronic, telephonic, and on-site fleet support on the operation and maintenance of ATC systemsAbility to develop training curriculum and materials for training evolutionsAbility to train others on the use and maintenance of ATC electronic systemsExperience using Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience in maintenance, repair, restoration, test, and evaluation of AN/TPN-31 ATNAVICS and/or AN/TRN-47 AMTACFamiliarity with the operation of Unix and/or Linux softwareFlexibility to learn and utilize other systems supported by this competencySec+ and/or Net+ certificationActive security clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $ Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
