Field Service Technician - 2517USA:AZ:Phoenix | Shop & Field Service Support | Full-TimeSummary: The Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include In-field Repair and Replacement of :Remove and Replace Pumps and MotorsLaser Alignment of Pumps and MotorsVibration analysis preferredStart-ups & troubleshootingMechanical Seal ChangesAPI and ANSI PumpsCentrifugal and Plunger PumpsMust be proficient with precision measuring instrumentsKnowledge of dynamic balancing a plusQualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:Must possess a minimum of 3-7 years experience working in the field in pump rebuildingMust be flexible, and willing to work both in the field, as well as in a shop environmentMust possess extensive knowledge of rebuilding centrifugal pumping equipmentAcceptable driving record according to company guidelinesAdditional information -Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbsWorking Conditions: Working in potential weather situations, rain/snowTraining/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferred, but not mandatory.Shift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as requiredTravel: Most job sites are about an hour drive from Denver.
