What You'll Do:
- Begin your day at the office reviewing reports, checking variances, rates, and flow meters to ensure optimal performance.
- Travel to SWD sites to troubleshoot equipment, monitor trending data, perform meter cleaning, maintenance, and pigging activities.
- Work closely with department foremen, utilizing your SCADA knowledge to prevent spills, optimize injection rates, and maintain field compliance.
- Understand facility operations and contribute to troubleshooting control valves, isolations, and other mechanical components.
- Engage in a well-rounded role that combines fieldwork and technical problem-solving to support overall site efficiency and safety.
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in isolations and control valves.
- Ability to read and interpret technical reports and operational data.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with foremen and maintenance teams.
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Prior experience in pipeline, SWD, or related oil & gas operations.
- Knowledge of pigging procedures and facility maintenance.
- Familiarity with spill prevention and environmental compliance protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
- Previous experience in a Lease or Field Operator role, ideally in a pipeline or SWD environment.
- Mechanical or technical background with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to work an 8/6 rotation schedule with minimal overtime.
- Ability to travel to field sites as needed throughout Williston, ND.
- Valid driver's license and safety training compliance.
