They ensure operational efficiency, quality and inventory control, client satisfaction, and project management while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. The Field Service Supervisor will plan, coordinate and direct all activities of the industrial services team.
This role emphasizes safety, operations goals, and client satisfaction through effective leadership of technical and service teams. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing project timelines, assisting with budgets, equipment uses, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Operations Management Plan and direct the daily work for field technicians, ensuring successful completion of customer equipment services, tank cleaning, fluid filtration and internal tank cleaning and service needsSafety and Compliance Work closely with safety coordinators to ensure all operations, both in-house and field, adhere to company safety policies, OSHA standards and environmental regulationsFinancial Oversight Oversee and uphold operation budgets, monitor project costs, and initiate cost control programs to ensure projects remain within budget and meet profitability goalsCustomer Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for key customers, preparing technical proposals with sales and support teams, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer requirements and satisfaction are metProcess Improvement Continuously improve and develop standards for the service department, streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and productivityEquipment and Inventory Coordinate procedures for facility and equipment maintenance, including procurement and managing inventory levels to meet operational demandsReporting Prepare reports for management, clients, and regulatory agencies regarding operations, project status, safety metrics, and financial performanceExperience and/or Training:1+ years of industry experience or other relevant experience helpfulProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyManaging a team of up to 20 peopleStrict attention to detailAbility to collaborate without issue within sales and operating systemsExcellent listening, reporting and presentation skillsCross-functional verbal and written communication skills; both internally and externallyAbility to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the customer's organization, including executive, engineering and C-levelLicense/Certification:Valid driver's licensePhysical, Mental, Environmental Demands:Frequent speaking, listening, walking, and standingRegular bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and climbingAbility to lift up to 40 poundsStrong communication skills and attention to safetyOccasional automobile travelExposure to seasonal weather conditions and shop environments with equipment, noise, and potentially slippery surfacesMust follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots as neededOccasional local and overnight travel as business needs requireAt Ascentek, we are committed to providing accurate and up-to-date information about our career opportunities.
