Field Service SpecialistDirect Hire | Houston, TXOur client is seeking a Field Service Specialist to support the Field Service Manager and Regional Sales Managers by providing technical expertise, field support, and customer service throughout the equipment lifecycle. This role serves as a key liaison between engineering, sales, manufacturing, and customers, providing onsite and remote support for industrial filtration systems. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting mechanical equipment, working directly with customers, and traveling to industrial facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales team by performing field inspections on new and existing equipmentCollect field measurements, document process conditions, and prepare sketches or drawings of filtration systemsRead tape measures and utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate field measurementsCollaborate with Engineering to develop technical solutions for customer applicationsAssist with commissioning new equipment and verify systems are operating according to project specificationsProvide technical support during equipment installations and ensure compliance with engineering drawings and project requirementsMaintain accurate service reports and documentation following customer site visitsPerform vessel inspections, quality control activities, and hardware installations at fabrication facilitiesCommunicate field observations and recommendations to Engineering and Sales teams to support continuous product improvementFollow all company, customer, and OSHA safety policies and proceduresPackage equipment and hardware for shipment as neededOperate forklifts to load and unload equipmentMaintain field service tools, testing equipment, and related inventoryQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferredMinimum two years of Field Service Technician experience preferredStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience working with industrial process systems preferredAbility to understand operating conditions within chemical, hydrocarbon, gas processing, or similar industrial facilitiesProficient using hand tools and precision measuring equipmentValid driver's license requiredAbility to obtain a passportAbility to successfully pass a government background checkWillingness to travel up to 50%What We're Looking ForWe're seeking a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, building strong customer relationships, and working in both field and manufacturing environments.
