Role Description The Field Service Representative (FSR) CLNC is a full-time, hybrid role based in Camp Lejeune, NC, with opportunities for partial work from home. The FSR will support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of XR training systems, ensuring that on-site training solutions run smoothly and meet mission and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating and conducting training sessions, assisting instructors and trainees with XR equipment, troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, and documenting system usage and performance feedback. The role also involves collaborating with XRT’s development and support teams to report issues, suggest improvements, and help refine training content and workflows. The FSR will regularly interface with military and civilian stakeholders, maintain accurate records, and follow established safety, security, and compliance procedures. On occasion, the FSR may attend industry conferences in support of XR Training.
Qualifications
- Technical and operational skills: Ability to learn and operate XR hardware and software, perform basic troubleshooting, and support system installations and updates.
- Training and customer support skills: Experience assisting end users in training environments, providing clear instructions, and delivering responsive on-site and remote support.
- Communication and collaboration skills: Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work effectively with diverse teams, and comfort interacting with military and civilian personnel.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills: Capacity to manage schedules and documentation, prioritize tasks in dynamic environments, and identify and escalate technical or operational issues.
- Relevant experience and education: Prior work in training, simulation, IT support, or related fields; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical, education, or related discipline is beneficial.
- Additional qualifications: Familiarity with defense or government training environments, understanding of basic security and safety practices, and willingness to work on-site at Camp Lejeune with some flexible remote work.
