Field Service ManagerSelectek is looking for a Field Service Manager in the Dallas, TX area. In this role, you will manage the construction administration process for all the company's projects, ensuring that each project is built to designed plans and specifications.Requirements:5 years of experience in an MEP construction or consulting environment5 years of experience in field project management in an MEP consulting environment1-2 years of supervisory experience preferredExcellent ability to read construction documents, including MEP drawings and specificationsExcellent knowledge of building codesKnowledge in the construction of power distribution, power and lighting, data networks, telephone and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control systems, and other standard electrical systemsKnowledge in the construction of HVAC systems, temperature controls, and other standard mechanical systemsKnowledge in the construction of domestic water systems, hot water systems, storm water systems, sanitary waste and vent systems, acid waste systems, fire sprinkler systems, compressed air systems, gas distribution systems and fuel gas systems, and other standard plumbing systemsExceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesAbility to work well on a teamExceptional written and verbal skillsKnowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office SuiteJob Duties:Perform engineering calculations and apply engineering principles to assist in the successful design, creation, and delivery of all mechanical AutoCAD and Revit drawings for each client project with minimal supervisionWrite, edit, and produce the accompanying specifications for each client project with minimal supervisionReview and approve shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, addendums, and other construction documents as assigned for mechanical-related items with minimal supervisionConduct field work and complete field reports on mechanical-related items to verify design with minimal supervisionExcellent knowledge of all required building codesUpdated knowledge of the company's design standards and processes and client design standardsProficient knowledge in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC)Ability to design and manage medium to large projects (i.e. middle schools, high schools) from start to finish with minimal supervisionAbility to manage and transfer knowledge to teammatesExcellent knowledge of the company's mission and vision; business leadership rolesStrong knowledge of client mission and goalsAbility to translate technical expertise and soft skills into business development goalsAdaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies to stay in the forefront of mechanical engineering advancementsParticipate and/or lead client meetings as assignedParticipate in career development training as assigned by supervisor or Human ResourcesSalary: $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary (could go higher depending on experience)Company Benefits Info:Employees get a week off at Christmas; 3 days at Thanksgiving and all the National Holidays.

They pay 100% of employee benefits (not family, just employee) and have a gym in the building. Employees also get (accrued) 15 days PTO for years 0-5 of service, 20 days PTO for year 6-10, 25 days PTO after 11+ years of service.Location: Plano, TXHours and shift: Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM CSTWork from home: YES, this person works from home and travels to sitesTravel: Yes, while this is a WFH, you will travel to sites.
