From reducing downtime to increasing reliability, the Field Service Manager is responsible for building strong customer relationships, achieving excellent customer satisfaction levels, and the growth of customer portfolios.ResponsibilitiesManagement of Field Service Department - Providing comprehensive maintenance services and production support.Coordinate with sales teamsCoordinate machine service calls at customer facilitiesSupport installations, training, and commissioning at job sitesEffectively communicate with customers to diagnose and advise on their needsDeveloping new customers and leadsProvide technical input to customersEffectively quote jobs and manage the quoting/bidding processLeading teams of skilled mechanical and electrical service techniciansReview and approve field service reportsProviding Technical Support Services, preventative maintenance solutions, emergency repairs, and customized on-site training for customers.RequirementsHands-on Manufacturing/Automation technical experience requiredManagement experience in applicable arena requiredCustomer-facing experience requiredMust be willing to travel to customer sites within the US.Bachelor's Degree preferred OR equivalent work experience
