Field Service EngineerWe are hiring for a Field Service Engineer in the Wixom, MI area. Base salary range starts at 80K, relevant to experience and education.Required:Minimum of 3 years relevant experienceUnderstanding of PLC's, VFD's, electrical troubleshooting, controls, wiring, pumps, motors.Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipmentGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management & clients.Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.Preferred:Water/Waste-Water Treatment plant experience HIGHLY preferred2- 4 year electrical engineering degreeJob Responsibilities:Troubleshooting of PLC's, instrumentation, and motor control devices such as variable frequency drives and reduced voltage starters.Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatchesTie workflow to scheduleManage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasksDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsProduce timely and detailed service reportsDocument processesFollow all company's filed procedures and protocolsCooperate with technical team and share information across the organizationComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsBuild positive relationships with customersThis is a SERVICE job.
