We're looking for a Field Service Technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience to support their massive presence in Washington. In this remote, field-based role, you'll be the technical expert customers rely on - installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC Lathes and Machining Centers across regional service territories. Expect frequent travel, direct client interaction, and the kind of variety that keeps the work interesting day to day.

Salary range: $85,000-$95,000, contingent on experience

Qualifications:

3+ years of field service experience working with industrial or CNC equipment

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical schematics

Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues in complex machinery

Working knowledge of PLC systems and hydraulic or pneumatic circuits

Proficiency with general computer systems and reporting tools

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting

Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interaction and training

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally exceed that as required

Completion of a high school diploma and 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical systems, or machine tool assembly

Responsibilities:

Install CNC machines and accessories at customer sites including assembly, leveling, alignment, calibration, and wiring

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues on CNC equipment in the field

Test machines after installation or repair to ensure proper functionality and performance

Train customers on equipment operation, features, and maintenance best practices

Travel regionally with frequent overnight stays to support customer needs

Prepare detailed service reports including diagnostics, repairs performed, and parts utilized

Utilize precision testing equipment for troubleshooting including indicators, gauges, and measurement tools

Continuously learn new machine features, controls, and accessory upgrades as technology evolves

Maintain a safe and compliant work environment while operating at customer locations

Travel up to 2 to 5 times per year, week at a time at the longest
