Field Service Engineer - SemiconductorThe Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime for clients in the semiconductor industry. The right candidate will also perform integration, startup, and commissioning of automated systems.Key responsibilities include:Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor fabrication equipment at customer sitesTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using electrical schematicsImplement process improvements to enhance equipment performanceConduct training for customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenanceDocument service activities and maintain accurate records of work performedCollaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for complex technical problemsUtilize PLC programming knowledge for equipment diagnostics and modificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in semiconductor manufacturing or related industryStrong understanding of electrical schematics and wiringProficiency in PLC programming and troubleshootingFamiliarity with process improvement methodologiesAbility to operate and maintain power toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailWillingness to travel to customer locations as requiredBenefits:Compensation: $70k-105k/yearMedicalDentalVision401(k) + 3% MatchPaid Time OffHoliday PayTuition ReimbursementFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
