Field Service Engineer in Rutland

A Field Service Engineer position is available with my client. They are a leader of level and pressure measurement technology and offer solutions to industries as diverse as Offshore & Petrochemical; Chemical & Pharmaceutical; Food & Beverage; Power & Water, Waste Water & Environmental. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience in level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing, and be based in Leicester, Peterborough or surrounding areas.

Field Service Engineer role:
nReporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for providing on-site services, including:
nCommissioning of new equipment.
nServicing and maintenance of existing systems.
nCustomer training on operation, calibration, and fault-finding procedures.
nOffer technical support remotely, advising customers via telephone on fault diagnosis and potential solutions, or arranging for an on-site visit where necessary.
nShare application-related experiences with the Sales Engineers to help resolve recurring challenges and improve customer solutions.
nParticipate in continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of support offered to customers.
nEnsure all work is conducted in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
nOccasional overnight stays when required.

Field Service Engineer requirement:
nProven experience within a field service role
nPrevious experience in an engineering or electrical industry.
nExperience with level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing would be advantageous.
nQualified to a relevant electrical engineering qualification.
nMaintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
nExcellent communication and presentation skills.
nClear and effective collaboration with colleagues, both in-office and remotely (e.g., by phone or email).
nAccurately records and stores data related to activities and customer interactions.
nFull, clean driving licence required.
