Power System Equipment SpecialistIn this role, you'll take the lead in supporting customers and field teams with the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of power system equipment. This includes systems related to power delivery, drives, and controls. You'll play a key part in keeping critical equipment up and running while helping guide on-site activities.Work Model: Remote (with travel)Responsibilities- Follow all safety policies and procedures, both internal and on customer sites- Install, maintain, repair, and commission equipment related to power delivery, control systems, outages, and power quality- Support planned and unplanned outages as needed- Work closely with field engineers and leadership to execute projects efficiently- Build strong working relationships with teammates and customers- Deliver a high level of service that helps drive repeat business and referralsQualifications- High school diploma and 9+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance(Formal education can be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis)- Experience working with electrical systems such as:Medium- and low-voltage switchgearPower panels and motor control centers (MCCs)Generators and transformersElectromechanical equipmentProtective relays (testing and installation)PLCs and DCS systemsElectrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematicsTesting equipment and instrumentationWillingness and ability to travel up to 60%
