Looking for a Controls Technician to program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and HMIs for a direct hire position. Previous experience as a Maintenance Controls Tech, Controls Electrician, Field Service Tech, Controls Engineer is desired.
Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
* Layout, design, build, wire, install, program, and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and other electrical components.
* Commission new machines.
* Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
* Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
* Integrate, troubleshoot, and modify automation systems.
Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
* Experience programming, troubleshooting, and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
* Experience wiring machines.
* Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
* Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
* Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
* Experience in programming robotics is a plus.
* Able to travel 45% of the time.
* Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Pay range: $90,000 - $115,000
