Field Project Manager - Security Systems

Great opportunity to join a fast-growing tech team with a leading independent security systems integrator.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall site operations to ensure project completion within budget and scope.
• Supervise technical staff, installers, and contractors; may include mentoring and coaching.
• Coordinate subcontractors and verify quality assurance standards.
• Work with project coordinators to implement installation plans and procedures.
• Identify potential risks and communicate strategies to minimize impact.
• Ensure installations meet local and national standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire, and building automation systems.
• Act as main point of contact for technical support and client training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

This is a full-time, direct-hire role, fully on-site, covering local client sites in the greater Omaha metro area. Minimal travel. Limited on-call, typically less than once monthly. Includes vehicle, tools, PPE, uniform, phone, and laptop. Strong internal team with room to grow!

Required Skills

• Strong field supervision and installation experience with electronic security systems.
• Technical knowledge of systems such as access control, video monitoring, and related software.
• Ability to assess quality and provide training post-assessment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license.

• College degree in electronics or related field.
• Previous project management or supervisory experience.
