Field Operations ManagerBaldwin Park, California, United States$ 100,000.00 - 140,000.00 (US Dollar)Job OverviewWe are looking for a trustworthy individual that is results-driven to represent the company in a lead management role while also fostering customer and vendor relations and will need to be skilled in the recruiting of Carpentry and Millwork installation tradesman. An intimate knowledge of installation methods and practices and production standards is required.Responsibilities and DutiesIn managing their activities along with providing direction and oversight of the field team the Construction Superintendent/Field Operations Manager responsibilities include the following skill sets.Field ProductivityOversight of field staffing, maintaining manpower forecast, and ensuring manpower availabilityRecruit/interview/hire workforce as neededSchedule manpower for placement on a daily basisIdentify and designate proper foreman for projectsProvide supervision/training of jobsite foremanCoordinate supplies needed with jobsites/vendors and warehouse in a timely mannerAnswer questions about installation procedures and best practiceMaintain tool inventory/tracking/forecast/purchasingPromote understanding and use of the Field BudgetWork with foremen to record all Extra Work Orders timely and accuratelyProficient in SmartSheetQuality Control / SafetyMaintain high quality of install by all field staffUse of best methods to installUse of best tools/equipment (rental or owned)Walk jobsites on an as needed basis to ensure safety/quality/productivityMake sure tools are kept up and maintainedContinuously watch safety practices, and do safety audits on our field staffOther Job DutiesMaintain relationships between clients and field operationsWeekly timesheet approval and verification of all timesheetsManage and coordinate all service call requestsStay in daily communication/coordination with the Project Management teamWork through any field installation issuesWork with vendors and customers on any field issues, warranty issues, manpower issuesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and field installation of MillworkProficiency in OSHA regulations and safety standardsStrong skills in project scheduling and budgetingExperience with construction management software such as ProCore and BluebeamAbility to read blueprints and schematicsSupervisory experience in managing construction sites and quality control processesFamiliarity with carpentry and millwork practicesCompany Overview and CultureThe company has over 20 years of operation that continues to experience significant growth in revenue as well as regionally is always looking for qualified new team members.
