Traveling Field Maintenance MillwrightThe Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is looking for a traveling Field Maintenance Millwright stationed at our Kentucky locations.

The Field Maintenance Millwright will travel to various Levy sites to process raw material through a slag processing plant. Responsible for plant production tracking, plant maintenance, and housekeeping.Pay: $40-50 an hourBenefitsCompetitive benefits packageTuition Reimbursement for qualified programsStudent Loan Repayment ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramResponsibilitiesOperate mobile equipment (including but not limited to excavator, loader, skidsteer, etc.)Feed portable plant with raw materialsStockpile materials around plant areaUse machinery to regulate flow, quality, and size of materials to and from conveyors, crushers, and screensInspect and dismantle machines and equipment to locate the causes of malfunctions and to correct the problemKeep the work area clean and tidyMaintain daily production reportsRepair and replace defective partsWeld and fabricate various equipment and partsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and plantPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorSkillsAbility to Lift up to 50 lbs.Mechanical aptitude including welding and basic electrical skillsKnowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment and crusher plantKnowledge of crushing, screening, belts and conveyorsKnowledge of materials and specification requirementsAbility to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of or under equipmentAbility to manipulate components in hard to reach places with hands or toolsAbility to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settingsValid Chauffeurs license or CDL class A with Air Brakes license or the ability to obtain one
