This role serves as the primary field liaison between customers, subcontractors, installation crews, and internal teams to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, monitor workmanship, and ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.Field Operations & Project ExecutionOversee daily field operations and manage installation activities across assigned projects and communitiesCoordinate installation schedules with office personnel, customers, subcontractors, and project teamsEnsure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards, building codes, and customer specificationsMonitor project progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts, installation challenges, and field issuesCoordinate materials, labor, and equipment to support efficient project executionQuality AssuranceConduct routine jobsite visits, quality inspections, and final walkthroughsVerify workmanship, installation quality, and project completeness before project closeoutDevelop and manage punch lists to ensure deficiencies are corrected promptlyMonitor compliance with installation standards, manufacturer requirements, and company quality expectationsIdentify recurring quality concerns and recommend process improvementsLeadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and support installation crews, field technicians, and subcontractorsProvide field guidance, technical support, and performance feedbackPromote teamwork, accountability, and professional developmentSupport onboarding and training of new field personnelMonitor labor productivity and workforce performance to ensure operational efficiencyCustomer RelationsBuild and maintain positive working relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and customersRespond promptly and professionally to customer concerns and field issuesCommunicate project updates, schedule changes, and installation status to customers and internal teamsResolve field-related customer issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfactionOperational SupportMonitor labor productivity, material usage, and overall project performanceMaintain accurate project documentation, inspection reports, photographs, and daily field updatesReview blueprints, construction documents, work orders, and project specifications to ensure installation accuracySupport project closeout documentation and warranty-related activities when applicableSafety & CompliancePromote and enforce all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirementsConduct routine safety observations and ensure safe jobsite practicesIdentify and report safety hazards, incidents, or operational concerns immediatelyMaintain safe, organized, and professional jobsite environmentsPerform additional duties and special projects as assignedWhat you'll bring:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesStrong organizational, project coordination, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently while leading field operationsMinimum 2 years of leadership or field management experience preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in residential construction, finish carpentry, window installation, trim installation, or exterior building products preferredExperience managing multiple active projects across several job sitesResidential production builder experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and installation drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and mobile project management softwareValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordPrimarily field-based with daily travel between customer homes, jobsites, and branch locationsFrequent exposure to active construction sites and varying weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform physical inspections throughout the workdayAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to travel between multiple job sites dailyMay require extended hours to support project schedules and customer commitmentsWhat you'll earn:Health Care Benefits401(k) with employer matchPaid Time OffQXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
