In our time of growth, we are seeking top talent to add to our team.In our laborer positions, the following duties will be performed:With training and oversight provided, you will be performing all duties related to the pavement marking process including but not limited to:Assist crew with daily setup and breakdown of striping operationsSet up and take down traffic control devices (cones, signs, arrow boards, etc.)Load and unload materials, tools, and equipmentClean and maintain tools, trucks, and work areasAssist with layout, paint application, Epoxy application and thermoplastic/tape installation as directedFollow safety guidelines and wear required PPESupport foreman and operators with whatever is needed to complete the jobCommunicate clearly and respectfully with team members and the publicWorking ConditionsRegularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop; and kneel, crouch or crawlRegularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsRegularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particlesNoise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loudRequirementsValid driver's license preferredTravelAbility to work nights, weekends, or long hours, depending on project scheduleWillingness to travel (could be out of town up to a week in Ohio).PreferredPrevious construction, roadway, or striping experienceFamiliarity with paint machines, thermoplastic, or tape striping methodsExperience with traffic control or flaggingCDL is a plus, but not required first yearGriffin Pavement Striping is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
