ScriptPro develops, sells, and supports state of the art robotics and services in thousands of pharmacy settings around the United States and Canada.Job Summary: As a Field Installation Engineer specializing in ScriptPro's pharmaceutical automation equipment and system solutions, you will play a crucial role in deploying and setting up advanced technology that directly impacts the efficiency and accuracy of pharmacy operations, both domestically and internationally. This position requires a blend of technical aptitude, hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, and excellent customer service, all within the specialized context of pharmaceutical automation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that ScriptPro installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in healthcare environments worldwide.Reporting Relationship: Manager, Installation OperationsShift: General start time of 7 am, hours and schedule vary daily based on customer demand. This position requires 85% travel with trip duration generally between 4 – 12 days. Overtime is typical and paid. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.Scope of the Role:ScriptPro System Installation and Setup: Perform on-site installations of ScriptPro's pharmaceutical automation equipment and system solutions, adhering to specific procedures and standards, both domestically and internationallyEnsure all installations are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting project timelines and pharmacy operational requirements across diverse geographic locationsTroubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process, focusing on ScriptPro-specific hardware and software in various settings.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and pharmacy-specific regulationsMechanical and Electrical Tasks: Utilize mechanical skills to assemble, install, and adjust ScriptPro equipment, ensuring precise alignment and functionalityApply basic electrical knowledge to connect and configure electrical components within ScriptPro systems, using tools such as voltmeters, adapting to different electrical standards as neededUnderstand and adhere to safety protocols for both mechanical and electrical work in a pharmacy setting, including international safety standardsDriving and Transportation: Operate a truck and trailer safely and efficiently, including backing and maneuvering in various environments, to transport ScriptPro equipment, adapting to international driving regulations as necessaryAdhere to DOT requirements and maintain accurate electronic logs, including international driving logs when applicableEnsure the safe transport of sensitive and valuable ScriptPro equipment and materials to installation sites, both domestically and internationally.Manage the import and export of ScriptPro equipment through customs at border crossings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulationsAdhere to all international travel requirements and documentation standardsTechnical Proficiency: Utilize Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) for documentation, communication, and data management related to ScriptPro installationsDemonstrate a basic understanding of network connectivity concepts, including LAN, VPN, WLAN, IP addresses, and MAC addresses, as they relate to ScriptPro system integration in diverse network environmentsTroubleshoot desktop and peripheral issues related to ScriptPro software and hardware effectively, including adapting to language and cultural differencesUtilize the Internal Knowledge Base, Installation specific SOP's and Siebel for information, documentation and support specific to ScriptPro productsUtilize Sprout and other resources for self-advancement in ScriptPro technologiesCustomer Service, Communication and Analytical Skills: Provide exceptional customer service to pharmacy staff and ScriptPro's Field Operations personnel, ensuring their needs and requirements are met promptly and professionally.

Understand the sensitive nature of pharmacy operations and the collaborative role of Field Operations to ensure ScriptPro is delivery outstanding customer serviceCommunicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with pharmacy clients, ScriptPro's Field Operations, and internal team members, adapting to language barriers and cultural differences effectivelyMaintain a positive attitude and build strong rapport with pharmacy personnel and ScriptPro's Field Operations representatives, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactionsAct as a liaison between the pharmacy and ScriptPro's Field Operations, facilitating clear communication and problem-solving to ensure seamless service deliveryProactively communicate with ScriptPro's Field Operations regarding any on-site issues or observations that may impact pharmacy operations or service quality.Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues specific to ScriptPro installations effectivelyUse analytical skills to diagnose problems and implement solutions tailored to ScriptPro equipment, adapting to different technical environments and standardsDemonstrate good decision-making skills in challenging situations within a pharmacy environment, including international scenariosRequired Qualifications:2+ years of related experience in a mechanical/technology field, with experience driving a truck and pulling a trailerDemonstrated proficiency with electrical and/or mechanical systemsProficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), and basic networking conceptsGeneral knowledge of industry best practices and technologies related to pharmaceutical automationPassing score on new hire aptitude test, technical training courses on ScriptPro systems, and ScriptPro provided certificationsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. and push up to 700 lbs. on wheels to move ScriptPro equipmentAbility to perform physical tasks as required for the job, including working in tight spaces within pharmacy environmentsAbility to pass DOT Physical and driving road testsAbility to travel 85% of the time, including multi-hour flights and long-distance drivingValid driver's license and a clean driving record, including international driving experience if applicableMust have or be able to acquire a valid passport and be able to travel internationally without any disqualifying factors that would prevent entry into other countriesExcellent customer service skills, particularly in a healthcare or pharmacy contextStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyPositive approach, drive, and tenacityStrong work ethics and attention to detail, especially in a regulatory environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team, interact effectively with pharmacy staff from diverse cultural backgroundsCommitment to continuous learning and improvement in ScriptPro technologiesCultural sensitivity and awarenessPreferred Qualifications:Experience with ScriptPro systems or other pharmaceutical automation equipmentAdditional technical certifications related to automation or pharmacy technologyExperience with international travel and customs proceduresBilingual skills (French and Spanish)Compensation and Benefits:The compensation range for this role has been established at $ hourly. The final agreed-upon compensation may be higher or lower and is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.
