Our culture is built on collaboration, excellence, and a shared commitment to serving our customers and one another.ResponsibilitiesInvestigating lossesAnalyzing coverage, determining compensability and benefitsEstablishing reserves and negotiating settlementsConducting face-to-face meetings with claimants and insuredsPreparing large loss reports to both internal and external audiencesAttending settlement conferences, pre-trials and trials as assignedWorking closely with defense attorneys and other vendors including medical case management, surveillance, etc.Physical RequirementsRequires prolonged sitting and/or standing.Requires frequent travel, including some overnight travel.Requires ability to operate and/or travel in a motor vehicle for long periods of time.May require occasional travel by airplane.Requires frequent use of computer.QualificationsA minimum of 10 years of California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience with higher exposure claims is requiredActive California workers compensation adjusters license is requiredLocation in Southern California is requiredStrong consideration will be given to candidates with industry designations including Associate in ClaimsYou must be a great communicator, in both written and verbal form, and be able to work with a variety of internal and external contactsSalary Range: $115,000.00 -$125,000.00We offer competitive benefits packages for full-time and part-time employees*.
