This role is ideal for engineers seeking to develop a customer?facing technical career while working with cutting?edge technologies deployed in mission?critical systems.The position offers structured mentoring from senior technical leaders, hands?on exposure to industry?leading products, and the opportunity to build expertise at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and business impact.Key responsibilities include:Partnering with Sales Engineers to present, position, and support Analog Devices' technologies and system?level solutionsWorking closely with a Senior Field Applications Engineer, receiving ongoing technical mentoring and professional developmentTranslating customer system requirements into practical, high?performance engineering solutionsRecommending system?level architectures tailored to specific customer applicationsProviding structured feedback to internal Product Line teams regarding customer needs, application challenges, and potential new product opportunitiesBuilding effective working relationships with Product Line Management, Marketing, and Applications Engineering teamsEstablishing and maintaining trusted technical relationships with key customer accountsDelivering customer training on products, reference designs, and development toolsConducting technical presentations, seminars, and live demonstrations of products and toolsRequired qualifications:U.S. citizenshipBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent3–5+ years of experience in product engineering, design engineering, applications engineering, or a related technical roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsSolid foundational knowledge of RF, microwave, and mixed?signal circuit design at the board or system levelHands?on laboratory experience with measurement, debugging, and validation techniquesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectivelyCollaborative, team?oriented approach with the ability to work across engineering, sales, and management organizationsPreferred qualifications:Experience with MEMS, FPGA, or software developmentInterest in customer interaction, technical presentations, and solution?oriented problem solvingTravel and work environment:Regional travel within the assigned territory, approximately 20–25%Combination of customer site visits, laboratory work, internal collaboration, and technical presentationsCareer development opportunities:Direct mentorship from experienced Field Applications EngineersExposure to technologies deployed in real?world aerospace and defense systemsDevelopment of both deep technical expertise and customer?facing professional skillsAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
