PacBio in Menlo Park is seeking a Scientist II, Field Applications Bioinformatics Support, to train customers on PacBio data analysis and provide pre-/post-sales support. The role blends bioinformatics, molecular biology, and software, with regular travel and about 10% in-office work at HQ.
The ideal candidate holds MSc/PhD in life sciences with 2+ years of bioinformatics or tech-support experience, strong Unix, scripting ( Bash, Python, R), and excellent communication skills.
