  • Act as the primary technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and internal engineering organizations.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support throughout the sales cycle, including solution positioning, technical discussions, and proposal support.
  • Support customers through implementation and provide ongoing technical assistance as needed.
  • Help customers select appropriate solutions for aerospace, defense, industrial, and other mission-critical environments.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by taking ownership of technical challenges and delivering responsive, customer-focused support.
  • Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory for customer visits, including overnight and multi-day trips.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in field applications engineering, technical sales engineering, systems engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

  • Strong knowledge of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware.
  • Strong understanding of RF and analog technologies.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into technical requirements, product recommendations, or solution designs.
  • Experience providing technical sales support and collaborating effectively with sales managers or account teams.
  • Ability to present technical products, capabilities, roadmaps, and solutions to customers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more, often approximately two weeks per month, including overnight and multi-day customer visits.
  • Experience supporting aerospace and defense customers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with open-architecture computing platforms and standards such as VPX/OpenVPX, SOSA, MOSA, PCIe, and GPU/graphics computing is preferred.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary of $130,000 to $165,000.
  • Fully remote role supporting a regional customer territory.
  • Relocation assistance.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced embedded computing, FPGA/DSP, RF, and signal-processing technologies.
  • Exposure to a broad portfolio of mission-critical aerospace, defense, and industrial solutions.
  • Collaborative environment with experienced engineering and sales teams.
  • Opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of technical challenges, and support continued business growth.
