Field Application Engineer – Power SupplyCompensation: $85K-$95K DOELocation: Fremont, CAWe are seeking a Field Application Engineer to support customers with the design, integration, and optimization of Phihong's power supply solutions. This role bridges product design and customer support, playing a key role in both technical problem-solving and product development.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teamsSupport customer design-in activities for PSU products (AC-DC, DC-DC converters, adapters, etc.)Provide in-depth product knowledge and assist customers in selecting appropriate power supply solutionsConduct schematic reviews, PCB layout guidance, and thermal management consultationPerform lab testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of PSU systemsDevelop and present technical documents, application notes, and product training materialsCollaborate with R&D teams to improve existing products based on customer feedback and market needsParticipate in product definition, validation, and design reviewsTravel to customer sites (as needed) to support design activities and resolve issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field3+ years of experience in Power Supply, preferably with PSU design and/or FAE responsibilitiesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyzeStrong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual in Mandarin is a plusWillingness to travel domestically and internationallyBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offAbout PhihongPhihong is a global leader in the development of world-class power solutions, with annual revenue of $400 Million.
