We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-based architectures, and are charting a new course, with already-globally-deployed solutions delivering real-world results and rapidly improving models through real-field applications.We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Field Application Engineer to support the deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of our cutting-edge robotic systems—including drones, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots.
This role is ideal for recent graduates who thrive in both technical and operational environments and are ready to travel to project sites around the U.S. You will be based out of our Irvine, CA office but must be prepared for regular travel. An up-to-date passport and REAL ID (or equivalent documentation) are preferred and may be required for travel and site access.What You'll Get To Do:Deploy and operate robotic systems in the fieldSupport testing and data collectionSupervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demosFacilitate smooth, clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholdersDocument technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detailTroubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to continuous workflow improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usabilityWhat You Have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical fieldStrong communication skills—able to translate complex technical topics for various audiencesWillingness to travel frequently across the countryUp-to-date passport and valid REAL ID (or equivalent travel documentation) is preferredExcellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in team-based environmentsThe Extras That Set You Apart:Hands-on experience with robotics hardware (drones, quadrupeds, humanoids, or similar)Familiarity with basic electronics, sensors, and robotic subsystemsBasic coding/scripting skills (Python, C++, or similar)Prior experience in field testing, remote operations, or client-facing tech roles is a plusCompensationThe salary range for this role is dependent upon experience.
