Acts to maintain the integrity of processes and final product quality.Essential Job Functions:Weigh, blend and extrude colored pigment pellets for the production of spun fibersLocate and adjust inventory of raw materials using E-1 programsProduce fabric samples for review by internal personnel and external customers utilizing the 1" extruder and pilot equipment (draw bench, card, loom and dilo)Compare samples to target master's on the Datacolor color compounderPerforms other duties as requiredQualifications:The ability to understand written and verbal instructionsGood math skillsGood communication skillsThe ability to utilize basic E-1 programsRequired Training:Lock out/tag outBasic hazardous communicationPPEOn the job safety reviewEducation and/or Experience:High school graduate1 year of previous extruder experience preferredPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Frequent standing, walking, ladder climbingFrequent lifting of buckets to 30lbsFrequent manipulation of pigment drums to 300lbsFrequent manipulation of pigment gaylords to 90lbsWe are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
