FHIR Lead DeveloperFEPOC is looking to build FHIR data exchange capabilities and needs support from a seasoned FHIR Developer. This FHIR Lead Developer will work with stakeholders across the company to understand the requirements, work with various vendors to conduct POCs and determine the best product and finally implement and customize the product as per organization needs.Required Qualifications:Advanced level experience (7+ years) with Java programming, API Design and DevelopmentAt least 2 years of working knowledge of HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and their application as it relates to health care providersExperience working with HL7 implementation guides, as well as FHIR resources, profiles, and value setsExperience building APIs based on an FHIR standardsAdvanced level understanding of databases and SQL and at least one major RDBMS (Oracle, DB2 etc.)Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices, ability to write reusable code componentsPreferred Qualifications:BS/MS in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer ScienceWorking knowledge of U.S. Healthcare IndustryGeneral working experience within AWS cloudJob Duties:Work with Data Analysts and data governance teams to gather/review data requirementsCollaborate with various stake holders and performance POC for various short-listed vendor FHIR productsCollaborate with internal technical teams and vendor resources to configure/customize the FHIR productGuide other team members, resolve technical impediments, and ensure code quality and standardsEstablish authentication & authorization as per enterprise standardsCustomize and Optimize tool performanceDocument Technical analysis/design, Operational Runbook etc.
