To support the Quality Measurement & Improvement portfolio, the part-time FHIR Digital Quality Measures Lead will serve as a senior technical authority on eCQM development contracts, guiding the transition to FHIR-based digital quality measures and mentoring a team of developers and analysts while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Guide the transition from QDM-based eCQMs to FHIR-based dQMs, ensuring alignment with implementation guides Represent the organization in HL7 workgroups to stay updated on FHIR-based quality measurement standards Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, overseeing the quality of FHIR-based specifications Required qualifications: Master's degree in health informatics, computer science, public health, nursing, or a related field with a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience 7+ years of experience in healthcare quality measurement, specifically with QDM-based eCQMs and FHIR-based dQMs Working knowledge of FHIR resources and implementation guides relevant to quality measurement Familiarity with the CMS eCQM lifecycle and federal quality reporting program structures Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor junior technical staff while performing hands-on technical work
