Watson Tank Corp is a FedEx Ground contractor based in Cookeville, Tennessee. Drivers use company-provided Nissan high-top vans for routes serving residential and business customers. The delivery area includes Carthage, Lafayette, Gainesboro, and other nearby communities. Paid training lasts two weeks at the same pay rate.

The Job

You’ll deliver packages to homes and businesses, load and unload packages, and provide professional customer service along your route. You’ll drive a company-provided Nissan high-top van across the Cookeville-area delivery territory, covering about 165 miles per day.

The work involves frequent bending, lifting, and getting in and out of the vehicle. You may need to lift packages up to 150 lbs with a dolly and deliver them to a front door or access point. Routes average eight hours and continue until all packages are delivered.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $17 per hour
• Route-dependent pay: Up to $23 per hour

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No CDL required
• F endorsement required; reimbursement is available for candidates obtaining the endorsement
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs with a dolly, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior courier experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively

Schedule

Five days a week, including Saturday. Tuesday–Saturday or Monday–Friday schedule. Routes start at 8:00 AM and continue until route completion; routes average eight hours.
