Department : Scholars Academy Salary : $12.00 per hour
Description :
The Scholars Academy department is currently seeking applicants to fill college work-study positions.
Duties:
• Assists faculty, students, and staff
• Answers and assists with department phone calls
• Runs errands within the university
• Performs general clerical work (copying filing, mail materials, data entry)
• Assists the Scholars Academy with events throughout the semester
• Assists the office staff as needed with daily assignments
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be a current student at UHD
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Must have been awarded Federal Work-Study from the office of Financial Aid
All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
