Job Description
Assists in the development of student orientation programs for the Industrial, Construction and Transportation programs, including welding, automotive, diesel, collision repair and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.
Duties/Functions

• Creates and maintains a communications and events calendar for students newly enrolled in any CADM program
• Assists faculty in the presentation of course syllabi and other guidelines for student success
• Provides administrative support for newly admitted students
• Answers phone and provides general customer service to students and faculty
• Creates flyers to increase student engagement and attendance at orientation events
• Collaborates with other students and employees in data collection, data entry and analysis

Education Required
One semester of academic work at GTCC with a minimum 2.5 gpa
Education Preferred

• Minimum of one semester of coursework with a gpa of 2.5

Experience Required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Some experience with Adobe or Microsoft Forms

Experience Preferred
KSA Required

• Ability to multi-task and work with competing deadlines
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

KSA Preferred

• Background in Industrial, Construction or Transportation Technology
