Our employee-owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.In the role of Federal Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projectsIndependently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for complianceConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staffCoordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on scheduleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleWork with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (AIA) LicenseBachelor's degree in Engineering or ArchitecturePMP certificationRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field7 years related experienceA minimum of 2 years project management experienceMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustAt HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
