Project Managers are trusted to lead, make decisions, and partner effectively with Government clients and field teams.Position Overview The Federal Construction Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, execution, and financial performance of USACE and NAVFAC projects. This role leads project teams from award through closeout, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, schedule milestones, quality standards, and safety regulations.This position is based out of the Orlando, FL branch. Relocation assistance is available if needed for qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Serve as the primary point of contact with Government Contracting Officers, CORs, and QA personnel Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC contract documents, specifications, and quality requirements Direct and coordinate Superintendents, Quality Control Managers, SSHOs, and subcontractors Oversee project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and change management Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and change orders Ensure Quality Control Plans and Safety Plans are implemented and enforced Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and compliance Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders Support project turnover, commissioning, and closeout processesRequired Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager on federal construction projects Demonstrated experience managing USACE and or NAVFAC projects Strong working knowledge of federal construction contracting and project controls Familiarity with RMS and QCS systems Understanding of EM 385-1-1 safety requirements Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience with design build federal projects Background in vertical construction, healthcare, military, or secure facilities Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience managing multiple concurrent federal projects Additional certifications such as PMP or CCM a plusWhat Is Offered Leadership role on mission critical USACE and NAVFAC projects Orlando based position with an established federal construction team Relocation assistance available if required Competitive compensation, performance incentives, and full benefits Long term growth with a stable and expanding federal contractor Strong field and operational support structure
