We are seeking a Federal Financial Management SME to support a large-scale modernization effort to consolidate legacy financial systems into a unified, cloud-based Core Financial System. This role focuses on financial process transformation, compliance alignment, and functional support across multiple federal agencies.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in federal financial management, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance, and will play a key role in shaping business processes, supporting system implementation, and ensuring audit readiness.This position ensures that all financial processes, system configurations, and outputs comply with federal financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements, while supporting the transition to a standardized, SaaS-based financial management environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Business Process Reengineering (BPR) efforts across Treasury and partner agenciesStandardize financial processes and align legacy operations to the OneFM Core Financial System baselineDefine and validate:Financial business processesStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Internal controlsProvide functional support across ERP domains including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and BudgetingFinancial Reporting & ComplianceSupport preparation of federal financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, etc.)Ensure alignment with Treasury reporting requirements and federal standardsAssist with:Audit readiness activitiesAudit remediation (e.g., Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), material weaknesses)Data & Migration SupportGuide Chart of Accounts (COA) alignment and financial data structuresValidate data mapping, conversion accuracy, and reconciliationTesting & ValidationSupport System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Validate financial scenarios and ensure compliance with federal financial requirementsStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with Treasury, BFS, and federal agency stakeholdersTranslate business needs into system requirementsTraining & User SupportSupport development of:Training materialsUser guidesProvide functional and compliance guidance to end usersQualificationsSecurity & Eligibility RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust (suitability) clearanceMust be able to pass a federal background investigationU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no visa sponsorship available)BenefitsHolidays - ElevenRetirement Plan (401k) MatchingShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Paid Time Off (0-3 years - 15 Days PTO | 3+ years 20 Days)Equal Opportunity Employer Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or status within any other protected group.
