Federal Account Executive - Army

Owning and expanding the U.S. Army territory, the full-time Senior Account Executive - Army will focus on strategic selling, renewal expansion, and net-new growth while managing complex enterprise SaaS transactions in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary seller for Mattermost's U.S. Army business, developing multi-year account strategies aligned with Army modernization priorities Maintain executive ownership of large-scale renewals and identify cross-program expansion opportunities within existing deployments Lead complex sales cycles, navigating Federal procurement environments and building strong internal deal governance Required qualifications Proven track record of enterprise SaaS sales experience with success in closing complex, multi-million-dollar transactions Substantial experience selling directly into U.S. Federal and DoD accounts, particularly within the Army ecosystem Demonstrated ability to close complex software transactions and navigate partner-influenced deal structures Deep understanding of DoD procurement, acquisition, and contracting processes Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, with active Secret clearance preferred
