Role Description

The Fast Track General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at an Arby’s restaurant in Knoxville, TN. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, including managing team members, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. The Fast Track General Manager is responsible for scheduling, training, and performance coaching, as well as monitoring inventory, managing cash controls, and supporting sales and profitability goals. This position partners with leadership to implement company initiatives, uphold brand standards, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. The role is designed for individuals ready to quickly assume full general manager responsibilities and grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or retail management, including supervising teams and overseeing daily operations.
• Skills in coaching, training, and developing team members to deliver consistent, high-quality guest service.
• Ability to manage scheduling, inventory, and cash handling with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Competence in maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic technology tools and point-of-sale systems used in restaurant operations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience as an assistant manager or shift leader; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
