Farm Mechanic

Job Duties

Maintain and repair heavy farm equipment, machinery, trucks and related parts for large custom crop farming operation, assist with farm equipment operation and transporting farm supplies to and from and around farm as needed.

Minimum Education Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience Required

24 months experience mechanical work. Must also have the following skills/knowledge/abilitites: General knowledge of mechanical, welding and metal work. Ability to operate farm equipment and machinery; Ability to repair complex farm equipment with no supervision; willingness to work a flexible schedule, 6 to 7 days per week, higher during planting and harvest, some nights, holidays and weekends; physical ability to climb in and out of equipment and handle tools.
