Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is currently accepting CVs from experienced BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians to join our busy and established practice in Venice, Florida .

Venice is located in Sarasota County. With 14 miles of beaches, Venice offers plentiful shopping, family-friendly saltwater adventures and Old Florida charm. Venice was named a Top Five Suburb for City-Like living and is one of USA Today s 10 Best Must-Visit Beaches in the South.

Practice Information:

• Join two Family Medicine physicians, an Internal Medicine physician, and an Advanced Practice Provider in an established, growing practice.
• Inherit an established patient panel with a strong women s health focus (%) from a retiring physician.
• Outpatient-only position with no OB responsibilities
• FPG s Medical Hospitalist Group manages inpatient admissions across all hospitals.
• Clinic hours are Monday Friday, 7:15AM to 4:30PM, providing an excellent work/life balance.
• Expected clinic volume is approximately 18 patients per day .
• Equitable call of 1:12.
• Office is located above an SMH Urgent Care at the intersection of U.S. 41/South Tamiami Trail and the U.S. 41 North Bypass.
• As a combined urgent care and health care center, the Venice location offers radiology and full-service laboratory testing.
• EMR system: EPIC

• Contract includes a 2-year guaranteed base salary . Physicians can transition to a generous pay model after 2 years.

• Five (5) days and $3,500 Continuing Medical Education per year.
• Four (4) weeks of PTO year 1 and 5 weeks years 2 and beyond.

• As an employee of a public, State of Florida organization, physicians are entitled to sovereign immunity , no tail insurance is necessary should you leave our practice.
• We are a not-for-profit organization 501(c)(3) . Physicians can participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program if employed by FPG.
• No State income tax in Florida .
