Join a nation-wide primary care organization focused on providing exceptional care to the geriatric population. We are seeking physicians for our Durham location.
Schedule and Patient Care- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule (no nights or weekends)
- 12-16 patients per day once fully ramped up (could start lower if a new site)
- Patient population primarily Medicare (over age 65) but also see Medicaid, with some sites having up to 25% under age 65
- Work alongside 1 MD, APP, Scribe, MA, and shared RN/Social Work support
- Specialty support from partnership with an outside telemedicine company
- Utilize EPIC EMR with scribe support and advanced algorithms to predict patient needs
- Rotated amongst the market, on average 1 week every 3 months
- Call center to triage, so calls are limited and 100% remote
- Full-time permanent position with a 4-6 week orientation/training period
- Stock options, extensive PTO, large CME stipend, malpractice coverage, and 401k with match available from day one
- Board Certification Required
- NC State License Required
- Training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Previous primary care or skilled nursing facility/nursing home experience preferred, but not required
