What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive family medical care at multiple clinic locations within Portsmouth, VA
- Perform diagnoses, treatments, and preventive health services for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
- Document clinical encounters accurately per protocols
- Support team training and quality improvement initiatives
- Handle emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings, including some extended hours if needed
What You Need
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited U.S./Canadian medical school
- Unrestricted medical license in Virginia
- Board certified in Family Practice
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in family medicine
- Valid DEA and BLS certifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- US citizenship and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
