Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Jacksonville, Florida medical center. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys outpatient primary care and building long-term relationships with adult patients (18+) in a collaborative, value-based care environment.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care while working alongside an integrated healthcare team focused on improving patient outcomes, preventive care, and overall wellness.
- 100% outpatient primary care practice
- Adult patient population (18+)
- Monday Friday schedule, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- No weekends
- No on-call responsibilities

Physician Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients (18+)
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Educate patients on preventive health, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient relationship-building skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Previous outpatient primary care or value-based care experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
