Physician - Family Medicine
Job Details:
- Join a collaborative team of Family Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians providing exceptional patient-focused care to the Fosston community and greater region
- 1.0 FTE is 36 patient contact hours, or 32 patient contact hours if performing inpatient duties
- Clinic shifts Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with an average of 18-20 patients per day
- Average of 1-2 procedures performed per day
- Site provides Pre and Post-natal care for patients who deliver in Detroit Lakes through a shared care model with OB/GYN services
- Inpatient rounding available at Critical Access Hospital with an average census of 5-8 patients; local physicians have the option to perform daily rounds for patients under their care
- Optional Emergency Room shifts available with a volume of 8-12 patients per 24-hour shift
- Home base in Fosston with potential outreach opportunities to Oklee and Bagley Clinics
- Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
- On-site services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietitian, Diabetes Educator, Behavioral Health, Home Health, Tobacco Cessation, Path/Lab, Radiology/Imaging, and Weight Management
- Outreach services include Oncology, ENT, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Pain, GYN, Medicine, Podiatry, General Surgery/Wound Clinic, and Urology, along with numerous Telehealth specialty services
- BC/BE Family Medicine certification required
